Ronald Polk

Ronald "Ronnie" Polk, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on March 4, 2026, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Born on June 17, 1949, in Old Hickory, TN, Ron’s life was a tapestry woven with laughter, storytelling, and a wit that left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.

Ron was known for his infectious humor and the way he could light up a room with his stories, each one told with a sparkle in his eye and a mischievous grin. His remarkable ability to connect with people was a gift that defined his character and endeared him deeply to all who knew him. 

He is survived by his wife, Evonne Newkirk Polk. His daughter, Loni Polk Borkowski, and his cherished grandsons, Bodhi and Austin Borkowski. 

Ron was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Polk, his father, Lonnie Polk, and his sister, Francis Ferguson.

Ronald Polk’s life was a beautiful story of love, laughter, and resilience. Though he has departed from this world, the echoes of his laughter and the warmth of his stories will forever resonate in the hearts of his family and friends. His memory remains a precious light guiding those who knew him through the shadows, reminding us all of the power of a joyful spirit and the enduring bonds of family.
