Ray Richardson, a beloved master carpenter, passed away on May 9, 2025, in Ringgold, Georgia. Born on April 2, 1958, in Rossville, Georgia, he dedicated his life to crafting and building, leaving a legacy of skill and dedication. Ray was not only a talented tradesman, having established his own handyman company, Ray's Repairs, but he was also a cherished father and loyal friend whose presence will be deeply missed.

Throughout his life, Ray was known for his caring and thoughtful nature. He had a quiet, soft-spoken demeanor that drew people to him, always embodying an easy-going spirit that made him approachable. His generous heart led him to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed, whether it was through his work or in his personal life.

Ray created countless cherished memories with his family, particularly during the joyful family fishing trips on Easter Sunday and skating at the Fort O Skating Rink. Their family camping adventures further forged bonds that will last for generations. His daughters, Jessica Lee and Tiffany Easterlin, remember with fondness the special Father's Day meals at Western Sizzlers and reflect on his constant support and unwavering love.

Among his proudest accomplishments was raising two young girls as his own, demonstrating to them what it meant to be a devoted father. His love and commitment to Jessica and Tiffany transcended traditional roles, and he was always there for them, nurturing them through life's challenges. Another significant milestone included learning to drive and obtaining his driving license—a testament to his determination and perseverance.

Ray’s interests encompassed fishing, drawing, and melancholic moments of relaxation in his recliner, where he often enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. His connection to family extended to his grandchildren: Trey, April, Tony, Austin, Abby, Ally, Arron, Aiden, Annabelle Raychelle, Kristal, Christa, and Ashley. Each of them knew their grandfather as a gentle soul whose love would leave a lasting impression on their hearts.

He is joined in memory by his late parents, Winford and Vera Richardson; sister, Peggy Harrison; and brothers, Jerry, Joe, Tommy, and Pat Richardson, who together shaped his early years and provided the foundation of love he built upon.

Ray is survived by his brothers, David and  Paul (Junior) Richardson, and his sister-in-law, Regina Richardson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and caring.

A memorial service to honor Ray's life will be announced at a later date, allowing family and friends to gather and celebrate the remarkable man he was. His spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who loved him, and his memory will live on through the stories shared among family and friends.
