Lynette Ledford

Lynette Ledford (nee Delariman) went home to our Creator on June 18, 2025. She passed away peacefully in Erlanger Hospital at age 81 after an illness. She is survived by her daughters from her first marriage, Glyne Piesker, from Missouri and Aletta Dizon, from the Philippines. Lynette was also survived by her husband, Joel Ledford of Cleveland, Tenn. Along with those mentioned she is also survived by 3 grandchildren; Dana, Aleeah and Noah who will miss her dearly. Lynette is preceded in death by her parents Iniego Delariman, Sr. and Felizberta Jaleco Delariman both from Ilo-ilo, Philippines and her son, Gerald Todd Villareal from her first marriage to Gerardo Villareal, also deceased.

Ma'am Vi as she is affectionately called by students, fellow teacher and co-workers alike at Union Christian College in San Fernando, La Union, Philippines held a long-standing career in teaching for 30 plus years. Known to many as a reliable mentor, she is also known to be a dedicated worker always ready to face challenges head-on. Always giving a smiling face to anyone, she never faltered in her positive outlook in life. She has touched so many lives by helping many, and often unannounced. She has served her church in the Philippines, mostly as Choir Director or any other services her church needed. She will be deeply missed as a wife, mother, grandmother, friend and   institution in the school where she taught.

A funeral service will be held in the Philippines when her daughter will bring her remains back home. Condolences and messages of fond memories of Lynette to her bereaved family can be sent to this website.
