Larry Leon Harrison Sr

Larry L. Harrison Sr., 79, of Niota, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on August 18, 2025. He was born on May 21, 1946, in Ten Mile, Tennessee, and lived a life defined by love, hard work, and devotion to those he cared for most.

Larry will be remembered for his helping heart. He never hesitated to lend a hand, offer support, or share kindness with those around him. His generosity and compassion touched many lives, leaving behind a legacy of love and service.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Harrison of Niota, Tennessee; his children, Angela Asher, Rodger Harrison, Beverly Smith of Spring City, Tennessee, Sandra Harrison, and Larry L. Harrison Jr. of Niota, Tennessee; and his brother, Alvin Harrison of Dayton, Tennessee. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren who will forever cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Anna Christine Harrison, as well as nine brothers and sisters.

Though he has left this world, Larry’s love and memory will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

Memorial service will be announced by the family at a later date.
