Deborah Ann Buice, known as Debbie, passed away peacefully at home in Cleveland, Tennessee, on May 16, 2026. Born on December 27, 1963, in Atlanta, Georgia, Deborah lived a wonderful life that left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Debbie was known to be a woman that was wild, fun, and full of life but also kind and giving. Her personality shown in every role she embraced, whether as a mother, friend, wife, sister, or daughter. Throughout her journey, she turned her life around and was a devoted Christian woman whose heart overflowed with care and love for her family.

Debbie enjoyed playing cards, listening to music, and cherishing precious moments with her family. Debbie's laughter and warmth brought joy to gatherings, making each occasion memorable and full of love.

She is survived by her beloved children: Joyce Buice, Nichole Cruce (J.D), Stephen Buice Jr., Dennis Buice (Haley Jamerson), and Amanda Buice (Paige James). Debbie’s legacy lives on through her grandchildren—Larissa Bassett, Kevin Buice, Ella Gardner, Perry Buice, Eden Gardner, Emilee Gardner, Jason Davis, Morgan Buice, Isabella Buice, Kayson Buice, Cali Chamlee, and Sophia Chamlee—and her great-grandson Nathan Bassett. She also leaves behind cherished brothers David Cavender(Tina) and Eugene Cavender (Eva), who carry her memory in their hearts.

Deborah was preceded in death by her husband Stephen D Buice Sr., her parents, Guy Walker Cavender and Francis Elizabeth Cavender, and her brothers Joey Cavender and Kenneth Cavender.

Deborah Ann Buice’s journey reminds us of the power of resilience, faith, and unconditional love. Though she has left this world, the love and memories she created will forever resonate within the hearts of those who loved her. Her presence was a gift. May she rest now in peace and be embraced by the same grace she so freely gave to others.
