Danny Holloway passed away peacefully Saturday morning after a long battle with Sepsis. He was surrounded by loved ones and visited frequently by family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Lynda Holloway, his sons Aaron Brown and Ryan Holloway, his siblings Nancy McDaniel, George Holloway, Trisha Marlow and Debbie Rowden , his grandsons Evan Brown, Nolan Brown, Asher Holloway and Jack Holloway, his daughter in laws Kelly Brown and Vicki Holloway, grand daughter in law Amanda Brown, and great grandson Roman Brown.

Danny was the most friendly man you would ever meet. He would chat with strangers and come home to tell you the life story of those he met while he was out. We even gave a hobo a ride once on Christmas Eve. He loved fishing with his grandsons. Danny loved grocery shopping and getting a deal at an estate sale. Danny was a lover of food and if he wasn't eating he was talking about eating. He loved telling stories from his previous jobs and his interesting life. He was not afraid of much in life but rats and boy would he jump even at a fake one. He was a prankster and loved to panic you with a fake heart attack every now and then. Danny was a strong Christian man. He played in Gabrielle's Song annually with Lee Highway Church of God. He loved his family and everyone of us can point to something Danny gave us and the story that goes with it. He's well known for his hunt of Petty Cash. While we are saddened that we will miss Danny like nothing we have missed before, we rejoice knowing he is with God and meeting Jesus and is having a reunion with his family who has awaited him in heaven. He very much loved his wife whom he married after knowing her for 2 weeks. They had marvelous adventures together with vacations, shopping, vegetable and apple shopping, playing with their various dogs and cats over the years and being best friends for nearly 50 years. We rejoice and are thankful that we were blessed to be a part of Danny's life and we rejoice that he is home and at rest in heaven.
