Bobby Eugene Dunn II, affectionately known as Buddy, was born on February 6, 1972, and departed this world suddenly on January 23, 2026, in Rossville, Georgia. He was a beloved member of his family and will be missed my all who knew him.
Buddy graduated from Ridgeland High School, in 1991. He dedicated many years of his life to his profession, working as a welder and demonstrating skill and craftsmanship in his work. Buddy proudly served in the United States Air Force before being medically discharged, exemplifying dedication and courage in service to his country.
Buddy had numerous hobbies and interests that colored his life. He enjoyed working with computers and had a passion for finding rare movies and even making his own films. An adventurous spirit, Buddy loved riding motorcycles and took pleasure in traversing the scenic routes of the famous Tail of the Dragon.
His departure leaves a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his sister, Trina (Mike) Brown; his brother, Jimmy Dunn; niece, Baili (Jerry) Coffman; nephews, Mikey (Emily) Brown, Gavin (Stormie) Dunn and Gage (Hailey) Dunn. Great-nieces, Ava Rabon and Amelia Dunn. Bobby also leaves behind a cherished extended family, including his aunt and uncle, Star and Gerald Prater, among several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Dunn, Sr., mother, Johnnie Dunn, as well as his grandparents, Jim and Adelle England and Robert and Louise Dunn.
A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Bobby on Saturday, February 7th, at South Rossville Baptist Church, located at 101 E. Peachtree Street, Rossville, GA, at 2 pm. The family welcomes friends and loved ones to join them from 12:30 pm until the time of the service as they gather to celebrate the life of a remarkable man who touched the hearts of many.
