Obituary

Amy Elizabeth Morgan, a cherished member of the Rossville community, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026, at her home in Rossville, Georgia. Born on January 28, 1967, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Amy lived a life rich with love, dedication, and sincerity.

A proud graduate of Rossville High School, Class of 1985.  Amy embarked on a fulfilling career marked by two significant and passionate endeavors. For 24 years, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to McKee Foods, where her commitment and dedication touched many lives. Following this, she embraced another rewarding chapter, working for Orange Grove Center for the past 11 years, an experience she held dear to her heart.

Amy was known for her honesty and outspokenness, always standing firmly by the values she believed in. Her devotion extended deeply into her family, especially toward her beloved brother, Seth, for whom she was a compassionate caregiver for many years. Her days were brightened by the joy of spending time with Seth, a testament to the strength of their bond.

Outside of her professional and family roles, Amy found happiness in spending time with her beloved cat, Josie, traveling, reading, and enjoying the quiet moments of relaxation by her pool. These simple pleasures reflected her gentle spirit and her appreciation for life’s peaceful joys.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Betty Morgan, brother Eddie Morgan, and sister Ellen Wright.

Amy is survived by her beloved brother Seth Morgan; sister Kathy Bennett, brothers Reid (Monica) Morgan, Dave (Gail) Morgan, William (Tonya) Morgan, and Mylon (Teresa) Morgan, as well as many nieces and nephews.   She cherished the relationships with her best friends Trina Brown and Shaunna Linkins, 

A memorial service to honor Amy’s life will be held on Thursday, May 14,  at the Orange Grove Center, in the cafeteria located at 615 Derby Street, Chattanooga, TN. Visitation will begin at 4 pm and continue until the time of the service at 5:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Orange Grove Center - GG Camp, 615 Derby Street, Chattanooga, TN 37404.

Amy was a woman of great integrity, full of boundless love, and had a great enthusiasm for life.  Amy's passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who loved her.
