Alice Fay Donahue

Preceded in death by her loving husband of eight years Harold Donahue, and also JD Brackett husband of 32 years who first made her a wife and a proud mother. Fay Donahue was called home to the Lord, August 25, 2026. Being a devoted believer in Christ, mother, wife, and sister allowed her to have unique and authentic connections with most anyone she met. She spent many years crocheting her love into the physical realm wrapping her loved ones and often strangers in the comfort of donated hand made blankets. Her embodiment of Jesus taught many of us how to let go of what we cannot change, and to hold on dearly to what matters most. God, family, and church anchored her life's priorities. She often heard our souls and our sorrows with out a word being spoken. No single person can ever fill her shoes. Though her feet were small her capacity to love, listen, and care was immense. To honor her memory, we must all work together each of us carrying a small piece of her beautiful spirit in our daily lives. 

A memorial service with a potluck after will be held at 12:00pm September 20, 2026. At 1601 Prater Rd, East Ridge TN 37412. Join us in this memorial and bring your favorite dish, if you wish. All are welcome.
